From Nairobi yard to your berth
Every consignment moves through the same controlled chain. Nothing ships that hasn't been graded, weighed and documented — which is why our specs hold at destination.
01Collection
Material arrives from vetted collectors, garages, factories and demolition sites. Every intake is weighed on certified scales and logged against a supplier record.
02Sorting & processing
Grades are separated by hand and magnet, cables are stripped, ferrous is cut to size, and non-ferrous is baled or bundled to the contracted density.
03Quality control
Purity, moisture and contamination are assayed in our own laboratory against the written spec. Buyers may appoint SGS, Intertek or their own inspector before loading.
04Container loading
Stuffed and sealed at Nairobi ICD with photographic evidence of every container, then railed on SGR to Mombasa for vessel booking.
05Documentation
Bill of lading, packing list, weight note, certificate of origin and any pre-shipment inspection certificates issued as a complete set.
06Export & handover
Shipment tracked to destination port. Payment settles by L/C at sight or T/T against agreed documents.
